How Mediation works

Your dispute may be resolved through negotiation using mediation.
Mediation is a voluntary process which does not involve using the legal system.
Mediation requires no need for the use of the Law Courts.
Mediation can resolve disputes at a fraction of the cost of using the legal system.
The cost of mediation is shared by the parties.
No one can impose an outcome on the parties to mediation.

After hours mediation services - week nights and weekend daytime.

Does your work commitment make it difficult for you to attend meetings during business hours?

Mediation Australia has just introduced its after hours service in its Adelaide office.

You can meet with a mediator from 6:30 to 9 pm on any weeknight and during the daytime on Saturdays and Sundays by prior appointment only.

National mediation at no extra cost

Do you have a dispute with a party in another Australian State or Territory?

Mediation Australia has opened, or is opening, offices in every capital city of each Australian state and territory.

If there are disputes in one or more states and or territories, we can mediate them through communication between our Mediation Australia offices at no additional cost. In addition, we are next planning the opening of Mediation Australia offices in most major regional country cities, such as Alice Springs, Cairns, Broken Hill, Albury-Wodonga and Geraldton for example.

We also offer the same services internationally through our International Strategic Mediation Alliance program. Please ask us for details.
